5.5 oz of chicken, beef or pork
1 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1 Tbsp Minced garlic
1 Tbsp Rice Wine (white wine for pork/beef, yellow wine for chicken)
1 tsp Ginger Powder
1/8 tsp sugar (use more for beef or pork)
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 c chopped onion
2 straws chopped green onion
1/2 Tbsp garlic sauce
3 c chopped veggies (any 2-4: bok choy, celery, snow peas, watercress, green pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage)
Directions:
Mix meat with soy sauce, garlic, rice wine, ginger, sugar and cornstarch in a bowl. Heat olive oil in alarge pan to medium heat. When hot, add chopped onion and let sizzle for a minute. Then add meat. When meat is browned a bit, add green onion. Saute, moving meat around in pan for 3-5 minutes. Meanwhile, separate veggies into two bowls. One for leafy veggies, one for hard veggies. Add garlic sauce, a little additional soy sauce, and a light sprinkle of powdered ginger to veggies. Add hard veggies to pan first allowing them to soften a little. Then add delicate veggies. Mix in with meat and cook until slightly wilted. Serve with rice.
